Since co-founding CITI in 1996, Sunil Sharad Kolhekar, one of the Small Business Administration’s Champion Award winners (the 2009 Entrepreneurial Success Award), has led the company through many years of remarkable growth to its present stature as a leading provider of high-end IT solutions for federal agencies such as DOS, DHS, EPA, HUD, and others. Dr. Kolhekar brings his more than 25 years of executive experience and his strengths in software development and management to his role as President and CEO of CITI. Prior to his leadership of CITI, Dr. Kolhekar built the foundation of his IT management career on successful assignments with increasingly higher levels of responsibility at companies such as CACI, Orkand, and CBSI. At CITI, he has played a pivotal role in growing the business from its original three employees to its current population of more than 350; and in bringing it to ever higher levels of revenue each year. Dr. Kolhekar received his B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Indore University; his M.B.A. from Punjab University; and his M.S. in Computer Systems Management from University of Maryland. In 2011, he received his Doctorate of Management degree from University of Maryland, University College.
Executive Management
Since CITI’s inception in 1996, Mr. Alankar Joshi has helped grow the business from its inception, starting with three people, to a company of nearly 350 employees. He brings more than 20 years of proven experience in the IT services marketplace to his role as vice president and co-founder of CITI.
Mr. Joshi has a personal history of having helped numerous federal government and commercial customers leverage innovative IT solutions to reach their business goals. He has played an integral role in obtaining and growing CITI contracts with the Department of Transportation (DOT), Department of Commerce (DOC), US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Labor (DOL) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He is highly experienced in executing performance based FFP, cost-plus, and T&M contracts and ID/IQ task orders to produce the customer’s desired outcomes.
Currently, Mr. Joshi focuses on some of the strategic business drivers for CITI, including its incubator/entrepreneurship and mentor-protégé programs. He received his B.A. in Economics from Bombay University, India.
For nearly a decade, Anand P Shanbhag has been proficiently handling the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer and Global Delivery Head for Creative IT Pvt Ltd, which is now the Product Development Center for its parent company Creative Information Technology, Inc. (CITI).
A dynamic, dedicated & strategic leader, Anand has played an instrumental role in building up CITI-India office to a Global Delivery Centre. He possesses nearly 23 years of global, multi-cultural and diversified experience in driving multi-million dollar projects for global clients, executing broad-based delivery & transformation strategies. He has a keen eye for technology and solution architecture interlaced with strong Program/Project Management skills and this has resulted in flawless execution of large scale projects with most of the organizations he has worked with.
As a Business Leader with hands-on experience in directing implementation and delivery of applications/products for clients, Anand has successfully enabled multiple clients to transform their businesses through innovative cross-sourcing delivery models, leveraging onshore/offshore and rural sourcing capabilities to provide high quality solutions with end-to-end P&L accountability.
With CITI, he has been explicitly engaged in creating a practice on Data Analytics and Machine Learning and building the Data Insights product. He has also been instrumental in institutionalizing the best practices on PMO and Quality, and heading the CITI-India team to achieve the CMMI Level 4 milestone. He has also been responsible for sales and marketing of CITI-India’s flagship retail product – Spectrum.
Anand is an Electronics Engineer by qualification and has been in the IT Industry since 1996. He is a certified Project Management Professional associated with the PMI –USA and PMI Mumbai chapter, a TOGAF 9 and Sun Certified Enterprise Architect, a Certified SCRUM Master and a Certified SCRUM Product Owner. Prior to working with Creative IT, he has been working in the BFSI segment for more than 14 years with different MNC's across the globe.
Gev Satarawalla joined CITI in 2007 where he has held various positions leading business and technology transformations. As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Gev’s primary focus is creating technology-driven differentiators for CITI’s products and practices. He does this by staying updated on the latest technology trends, knowing the pulse of customers, being passionate about experimentation, striving for excellence, always learning, and never fearing the unknown. At CITI, Gev leads a Technology Innovation Tiger Team targeting new-age improvements across products, processes and infrastructure; evangelizes these innovations internally and externally; and collaborates with industry partners to devise paths for joint success in high-stakes initiatives. A global executive with over 20 years of diverse experience across large enterprises as well as high-growth start-ups, Gev has successfully collaborated with and led product and technology teams across the US, Europe, and India. Armed with multi-technology expertise and rich experience across multiple industry verticals, he has successfully led technical product management for large-scale enterprise products that use new technologies to solve long-standing problems in unique ways for Fortune 500 companies and Government agencies. Prior to joining CITI, Gev led Enterprise Applications at a multi-billion-dollar enterprise where he brought one of the world’s first SAP Retail implementations back from the brink of failure. Gev holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, which he earned while rapidly scaling an entrepreneurial technology venture that is 100% bootstrapped and profitable till date.
